Product Description:
- Aptamil Comfort 1 is a food for special medical purposes tailored for the dietary management of colic and constipation in infants.
- It is nutritionally complete, suitable as the sole source of nutrition from birth to 6 months, and as part of a weaning diet from 6 to 12 months.
- The formula includes galacto- and fructo-oligosaccharides (GOS/FOS), reduced lactose, partially hydrolyzed whey proteins, and a fat blend with beta-palmitate.
How To Use:
Preparation:
- Wash hands thoroughly and sterilize all feeding utensils according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Boil freshly run water and let it cool for no more than 30 minutes.
- Measure the required amount of water into a sterilized bottle.
- Using the provided scoop, level off the powder with the built-in leveller; do not press or heap the powder.
- Add the correct number of scoops to the water.
- Cap the bottle and shake well for 10 seconds to dissolve the powder.
- Cool the bottle under running tap water and check the feed temperature before feeding.
- Feed immediately.
Important Feeding Instructions:
- Prepare each feed as required; do not store made-up feeds.
- Discard unfinished feeds within 2 hours.
- Do not heat feeds in a microwave to avoid hot spots.
- Never add extra scoops or any other ingredients to your baby's feed.
- Always use the scoop provided.
- Ensure your baby is not left alone during feeding.
- If necessary, offer cooled boiled water between feeds.
- Due to the blend of ingredients, the milk may separate once prepared; if this occurs, shake the bottle vigorously to mix before use.
- You may notice changes in your baby's stool consistency when using this formula; this is normal.
