De La Cruz 100% Pure and Natural Castor Oil is expeller-pressed from the bean of the castor plant grown and nurtured in India.
Castor Oil has a unique composition as it’s high in ricinoleic acid. It retains moisture by preventing water loss through the outer layer of the skin.
Castor oil is a go-to treatment for nourishing the hair but is also well known as a natural laxative.
Used for the temporary relief of occasional constipation
Bowel movement is generally produced in 6 to 12 hours
Product Features:
100% Pure and USP Grade
Expeller-Pressed and Hexane-Free
Free of Artificial Fragrances and Colors
Free of Preservatives, Parabens and Solvents
Non-GMO
Free of Gluten
Vegan and Vegetarian
Not Tested on Animals (we love them!)
How to Use:
Skin:
Castor Oil is a thick oil, so we suggest to mix a few drops with another carrier oil such as our De La Cruz Avocado Oil before putting on your face.
For the body, whip a few drops with our De La Cruz Shea Butter if you need to give an extra moisture blast to dry skin.
Apply the treatment on your skin and leave it on for a few minutes or overnight, depending on your moisture needs.
Use a clean wet cloth to remove the oil.
Hair & Scalp:
Apply a few drops of the oil on your scalp, roots and your ends. We suggest to apply on damp hair rather than dry or wet hair for better absorption.
If you have some time and want to enjoy maximum benefits of the oil, leave your treatment on for several hours or even overnight. You can wrap your hair in a towel if you don't want the oil to get sticky on your pillow or clothes. It will also help to better lock in moisture.
Removing the Castor oil can be difficult as it is a thick oil. Pro-Tip: in the shower, massage your scalp with conditioner to help remove the oil and then shampoo as usual.
Dry lips:
A simple step for your chapped lips: rub a small amount of Castor oil on your lips and let it soak in for a few seconds before applying your favorite lip balm.
Preferably taken on an empty stomach. May be taken with juice to improve the taste.
