• Lejam 30 mg is a specialized medication indicated for the treatment of premature ejaculation (PE) in adult men aged 18 to 64 years.


• The active ingredient, Dapoxetine, works by increasing the time to ejaculation and improving conscious control over ejaculation.


• It is designed for "on-demand" use rather than daily continuous treatment.

How to use:

• Dosage: The recommended starting dose is one 30 mg tablet as prescribed.


• Timing: Take approximately 1 to 3 hours before anticipated sexual activity.


• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water to avoid a bitter taste and reduce the risk of dizziness. It may be taken with or without food.


• Frequency: Do not take more than one tablet within a 24-hour period.

Caution & Warnings:

• Do not use if: You have a history of heart failure, significant liver or kidney impairment, or a history of mania/severe depression.


• Alcohol: Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication, as it increases the risk of fainting and dizziness.


• Driving: Exercise caution when driving or operating machinery, as the medication may cause drowsiness or blurred vision.


• Drug Interactions: Do not take concurrently with MAOIs, Thioridazine, Lithium, or potent CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., Ketoconazole). Ensure a 14-day washout period after stopping these medications before starting Lejam.


• Hydration: Ensure you are well-hydrated before taking the tablet to minimize the risk of fainting (syncope).
