The combination Guaifenesin / Dextromethorphan is used to treat cough that contains mucous (productive cough).

• If you’re allergic to the active substances or any other component of this medicine.

• If you are taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or took in the past 2 weeks.

• If you have a long term cough due to asthma or COPD.

• If you have a cough with too much mucous production. 

If you have had a cough for more than 7 days or if you have any other symptoms, contact your doctor.

Stop using this product and seek immediate medical help if you develop rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.

• Tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking.

• Guaifenesin / Dextromethorphan interacts with Monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOIs) used for depression or Parkinson’s disease. Do not take Guaifenesin / Dextromethorphan within 14 days of MAOIs.

• This medicine is intended for adults and children aged 6 years and older.

• Take as indicated by your doctor.

• Measure liquid doses carefully.

• Adults and children 12 years and older: the usual dosing it 10 mL every 4 hours.

• Children 6 – 11 years old: 5 mL every 4 hours.

• Store at room temperature 68 to 77°F (20 to 25°C).

• Keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
