Measurement posture

• The measurement posture refers to the posture that is maintained from the beginning of a measurement until the time when the device displays the measurement result.


• Any action that goes strays from the recommended posture may affect the measurement result.

The following are the guidelines for standard single blood pressure measurement posture:

Sensors:

• Accelerometer: Measures how fast the device is moving (e.g., when running).


• Gyroscope: Measures how the device rotates around its axes (e.g., when turning).


• Magnetometer: Uses the Earth's magnetic field to determine directions (e.g., north and south).


• Optical heart rate sensor: Measures your heart rate by analyzing the amount of light that passes through your skin.

• Ambient light sensor: Measures the intensity of ambient light to automatically adjust screen brightness.
