Product Description:

• Prospan Syrup is a traditional herbal medicinal product containing ivy leaf extract¹²³⁴.
• Prospan Syrup helps to thin and clear mucus from the respiratory tract, making it easier to cough up¹²³⁴.
• Prospan Syrup is used to relieve chesty coughs associated with the common cold and chronic inflammatory bronchial diseases¹²⁴.
• Prospan Syrup is alcoholfree and suitable for adults and children over 2 years of age¹².

How To Use:

• Shake well before use¹².
• Adults and adolescents over 12 years: Take 5 ml of syrup three times a day¹².
• Children from 6 to 11 years: Take 5 ml of syrup twice a day¹².
• Children from 2 to 5 years: Take 2.5 ml of syrup twice a day¹².
• The duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of symptoms. Treatment should last at least 7 days, even in mild cases. After the symptoms have disappeared, the treatment may be continued for 23 days¹.

Cautions & Warnings:

• Do not use if you are allergic to ivy leaf or any of the other ingredients of Prospan Syrup (see section 6)¹².
• Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without consulting your doctor or pharmacist¹².
• Do not exceed the recommended dose¹².
• Consult your doctor or pharmacist if your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 7 days, or if you have fever, shortness of breath, blood in your sputum or a chronic respiratory condition¹².
• Keep out of reach and sight of children¹².

Ingredients:

• Each ml of syrup contains 7 mg of ivy leaf dry extract (Hedera helix L.) as the active ingredient¹²⁴.
• The other ingredients are sorbitol solution, xylitol, glycerol, citric acid monohydrate, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, purified water and natural cherry flavor¹².
