Relvar Ellipta 200/25 Microgram 30 Doses

The combination Fluticasone Furoate / Vilanterol is used to treat symptoms of asthma and COPD. It is not used to relieve sudden breathing problems.

Do not use Fluticasone Furoate / Vilanterol

• If you’re allergic to the active substances or any other component of this medicine.

• If you’re allergic to milk proteins.

Talk to your doctor about all your medical conditions before taking this medicine including:

• If you have heart problems.

• If you have high blood pressure.

• If you have seizures.

• If you have thyroid problems.

• If you have diabetes or have high blood sugar. 

• If you have liver problems.

• If you have weak bones (osteoporosis).

• If you have an immune system problem.

• If you have eye problems such as glaucoma, increased pressure in your eye, cataracts, or other changes in vision. 

• If you have any type of viral, bacterial, fungal, or parasitic infection.

• If are pregnant or plan to become pregnant or breast-feeding.

Stop using this product and seek immediate medical help if you develop rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.

• Lung infections

• Reduced adrenal function

• Sudden breathing problems

• Weakened immune system

• Bone thinning or weakness (osteoporosis)

 

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking.

Fluticasaone furoate interacts with a lot of medicines including:

• Beta blockers such as Metoprolol

• The antifungal Ketoconazole

• Ritonavir used for HIV

• Other corticosteroids

 

• This medicine is intended for adults and children aged 12 years and older.

• Take as indicated by your doctor.

• Take it at the same time of the day.

• Do not use this medicine to relieve a sudden attack of shortness of breath.

• The usual recommended dose is one inhalation once daily.

• Store at room temperature 68 to 77°F (20 to 25°C).

• Throw away 6 weeks after using. 

• Keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
