Product Description:
- Seroflo 500/50 Mcg Ciphaler 60 is a combination inhalation powder used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
It contains two active ingredients:
- Salmeterol (50 micrograms): A long-acting beta-agonist that helps open the airways and makes breathing easier.
- Fluticasone propionate (500 micrograms): An inhaled corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the lungs and prevents asthma attacks.
Seroflo is available as a pre-dispensed inhaler containing 60 doses.
How To Use:
- Follow your doctor's instructions carefully when using Seroflo.
- Prime the inhaler before using it for the first time or if it hasn't been used for more than a week.
- Shake the inhaler well before each use.
- Sit upright and exhale completely.
- Place the inhaler mouthpiece between your lips and close your mouth around it.
- Inhale slowly and deeply through your mouth, pressing down on the inhaler as you do so.
- Hold your breath for 10 seconds, then exhale slowly.
- Wait at least 30 seconds before taking another dose.
- Rinse your mouth with water after using Seroflo to prevent oral thrush.
- Clean the inhaler mouthpiece regularly with warm water.
Warnings And Precautions:
- Do not use Seroflo more often or in higher doses than prescribed by your doctor.
- If you experience worsening symptoms or have a severe asthma attack, seek medical attention immediately.
- Seroflo may cause blurred vision or increased eye pressure. If you have glaucoma or cataracts, talk to your doctor before using this medication.
- Seroflo may weaken your immune system, making you more susceptible to infections. Avoid contact with people who are sick.
- Do not stop using Seroflo suddenly without talking to your doctor. This could lead to a flare-up of your symptoms.
