How To Use:

• Take Vascepa exactly as prescribed by your doctor.


• Swallow the capsules whole with water.


• You can take Vascepa with or without food.


• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Warnings And Precautions:

Talk to your doctor before taking Vascepa if you:

• Are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.


• Are breastfeeding.


• Have any liver problems.


• Have any bleeding disorders.


• Have any allergies to fish or shellfish.

Stop taking Vascepa and tell your doctor right away if you experience:

• Any signs of bleeding, such as unusual bruising, nosebleeds, or bleeding from your gums.


• Any signs of liver problems, such as yellowing of your skin or eyes, dark urine, or stomach pain.

This medication may cause side effects, such as:

• Fishy aftertaste


• Burping


• Diarrhea


• Nausea


• Headache
