  • Treat and prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).

How To Use:


Dosage: Follow the dosage prescribed by your healthcare provider. Common doses are:



  • 5 mg twice daily: Standard dose for most conditions.

  • 5 mg twice daily: For patients with reduced kidney function, low body weight, or advanced age (usually over 80 years).


Administration:



  • Swallow the tablet whole with water.

  • Can be taken with or without food.

  • Take at the same times each day to ensure consistent blood levels.


Missed Dose:



  • If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember.

  • Do not take two doses at the same time to make up for the missed one.


Warnings And Precautions:


Bleeding Risk:



  • Xcard increases the risk of bleeding. Inform your doctor if you notice unusual bruising, prolonged bleeding, or blood in urine or stool.


Surgical Procedures:



  • If you are undergoing surgery or dental procedures, inform your healthcare provider, as Xcard may need to be stopped temporarily.


Medical Conditions:



  • Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, kidney problems, or a history of bleeding disorders.


Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
